Subscriptions purchased through Apple are managed in your App Store account settings. Subscriptions purchased on the web are managed from your OpenScripture account. Web and Apple subscriptions are billed and renewed independently and cannot be merged.

Is the Bible text behind a paywall?
No. All reader-visible translations, source-language study tools where data exists, cross-references, and commentary are part of the Free tier. Premium adds personalisation depth and AI-assisted features, not access to Scripture itself.
Can I try Premium first?
Everyone with an account receives free Premium automatically until December 12, 2026 after signing in. After launch, the App Store listing will state any introductory offer that applies in your region at the time of purchase.
If Premium is free until December, why subscribe now?
To lock in the founding rate. Subscribing to the founding yearly plan before December 12, 2026 grandfathers your price for as long as the subscription stays active — and you still aren't charged until December 12, 2026, when the free period ends.
Can I gift OpenScripture Premium?
Yes — buy a year of Premium at app.openscripture.io/gift and the recipient redeems the code at app.openscripture.io/redeem.
How do I cancel?
On iPhone or iPad, manage and cancel from Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. On the web, cancel from your OpenScripture account. After cancelling, Premium remains active until the end of the current billing period — you are not charged again.
Do you offer refunds?
App Store purchases are subject to Apple's refund policy and can be requested through Apple. For web purchases, contact hello@openscripture.io.
